How quickly can you manufacture my products?

The lead time for most jobs is typically three to four weeks after proof approval. However, if you have a special requirement, we will do our best to accommodate you. The time needed to complete any job depends on the availability of materials, the complexity of the printing, and the type of fabrication processes that will be used.

What are your minimum or maximum run sizes?

We have the capability to run jobs of virtually any quantity, from single prototypes to full production runs of one hundred thousand or more.

What is the largest graphic you can produce?

The largest graphic that can be printed and die cut is 29" x 41".

What types of art file format do you prefer?

Since we generally use Adobe Illustrator to produce artwork, Postscript file formats are the easiest to transfer and adjust for printing. To meet our customers’ needs, we are capable of importing many other formats as well, such as AutoCAD, CorelDraw, Macromedia Freehand, and QuarkXpress.

What color standards should be referenced for color matching?

The preferred reference standards are Munsell, Federal Standards 595, or any opaque color samples. The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is the most common and popular specification, but the Pantone books are produced by offset lithography on paper stock and are specifically intended for the offset ink system. Because screen printing inks for plastics have unique characteristics, we develop a Pantone "simulation" match. Samples of these matches will be submitted for your approval before production begins.

What type of material should be used for the graphic?

This depends on how and where it will be used. Materials like polycarbonate are ideal for indoor applications, while polyester is better suited for applications that require scratch resistance or in environments where harsh cleaning solvents are used. We work with a variety of materials, and we will gladly offer recommendations based on your application.

What’s the best adhesive for the graphic?

This depends on where it will be applied. Application surfaces have different molecular absorption characteristics, which result in different surface energies. Low-energy surfaces, such as powder-coated metal, require a more aggressive adhesive to ensure a stronger bond. For high-energy surfaces, such as molded plastic, acrylic adhesives are suitable. We can assist you in selecting the best adhesive for you application.

Can you do embossing and die cutting?

Yes. We have complete in-house fabrication capabilities that include embossing, die cutting, laser cutting, and adhesive lamination.

How will my products be shipped?

Packages are generally shipped via UPS or Federal Express. We offer a delivery service for local shipments. Customer or courier pick-ups at our facility can also be arranged.

How do I check on the status of an order?

You can contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-833-8397, x105. In addition, we will soon be launching NPTweb™, a password-protected website that will allow our customers to track quotes, orders, inventories and shipments, and access a wealth of other information online.

What are my payment options?

With approved credit, our payment terms are generally Net 30 Days. For your convenience, we also accept Visa or MasterCard.

What if I’m not satisfied with the products I receive?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any product you receive, please notify us immediately. We will accept returned material within 90 days of the date of delivery. You will receive a Return Material Authorization Number, which will serve as a reference throughout the return process. Please note that we cannot accept partial returns in circumstances where defective material has been used, without regard for the defect, or where the defect is beyond the scope of the print specifications.
